Giving University is funded by contributions from both individuals and corporations. GU charges no tuition to students, and receives no government grants.

Giving University believes that there are many organizations doing high-impact work around the world. As a general rule, funds received by GU are granted within a few months. There are no plans for an endowment-type amassing of donations.
